Yale Religious Ministries

Yale Religious Ministries is dedicated to the spiritual, ethical, intellectual, social, and physical welfare of students, faculty, and staff.  It is committed to strengthening the University in its task of educating students and expanding the boundaries of human knowledge.  It is committed to fostering respect and mutual understanding among people of different faiths and cultures as well as actively promoting dialogue within the University towards that end.

Yale Women’s Center

Seeks to improve the lives of all women, especially at Yale and in New Haven.

 

Asian American Cultural Center

Established in 1981, the AACC promotes Asian American culture and explores the social and political experience of Asians in the United States.

 
 

La Casa Cultural Julia de Burgos

A home away from home for Latinos at Yale where students socialize, plan activities, cook together in a fully-equipped kitchen, discuss Latin American/Latino issues at events featuring visiting scholars, and create a warm and robust community. The Center is also open to New Haven Latinos and community-based ESL programs for non-English speakers.

 

Afro-American Cultural Center

Symbolizing ‘home’ for those who aspire to greater understanding and appreciation of African-American, Afro-Caribbean and African culture, the Center and its student organizations provide a wide range of academic support and advisement, leadership skills training, and cultural/socio-political programming. Events such as lectures, poetry slams, receptions, political forums, tutoring and mentoring of youth in New Haven, and a host of stimulating activities take place regularly.

 

Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life on Campus

Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale, home to Yale Hillel and Young Israel House at Yale, is an independent, self-supporting non-profit that serves Yale students, faculty and staff, and the Greater New Haven community.

 

Native American Cultural Center

The NACC strives to maintain a permanent and prominent Native American presence at Yale that incorporates and supports the success of future Native leaders through recruitment, encouragement, mentoring, service, and the fostering of a community that makes Yale the most sought after Ivy Institution for Native American achievement, research and solidarity.

 

Dwight Hall

The Center for Public Service and Social Justice at Yale, an independent, nonprofit umbrella organization that provides support to and fosters communication between over 60 student-run member organizations.
