OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS

- Current students order by signing in through the Yale Hub, clicking on “Academics,” and selecting “Transcript Orders.”

Payment
Online transcript orders require payment by credit or debit card. The charge is $8 per transcript. Mail and express delivery options are available for an additional fee (see our transcript request FAQ). Requests for more than two notarized transcripts per week will also incur an additional surcharge of $5 per transcript. Payment for the full amount of a transcript order must be received before the order can be processed.
UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
If you need an unofficial transcript, go to Yale Hub; choose “Academics” then select “Unofficial Transcript-Undergrad”. This is the more comparable document Yale has to an unofficial transcript.
ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION
The Office of the University Registrar has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide certificates of enrollment for students in Yale College and in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Students are able to obtain a document confirming enrollment instantly by visiting the National Student Clearinghouse’s MyHub site. Enrollment certificates from the NSC display the Yale watermark.
To access your enrollment certificate, please click on the “Download Certificates” button, found on the top of the landing page after you log into the NSC MyHub.
Yale College and GSAS students who have registered for the fall term are able to obtain advanced enrollment certificates from the National Student Clearinghouse. Because the first of-term enrollment file for fall will be sent to the NSC during the third week of September, changes in enrollment status will not appear on enrollment certificates issued by the NSC until after that date. Incoming first year students will need to wait until this time to order an enrollment verification and may use their admissions letter in the meantime.
DEGREE VERIFICATION
If a degree verification is needed, please request an official transcript. Information on how to submit a transcript request can be found on our Transcript Requests page.
Organizations and third-party requestors performing background checks or verifying degrees must submit their request online through the National Student Clearinghouse.
